Kim Magloire brings more than three decades of research, scientific leadership, and innovative problem-solving to her role as CEO of The Wellness Institute, Inc. A Princeton University graduate and Columbia-trained epidemiologist specializing in psychiatric epidemiology and stress, Kim has devoted her career to understanding how environment, biology, and innovative interventions impact human health.
Her scientific journey began early. As an undergraduate, she co-authored a landmark study demonstrating how academic stress—especially in students with low social support—reduces secretory Immunoglobulin A, a critical marker of immune function. This research was later published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (Jemmott & Magloire, 1988) and helped establish Kim’s lifelong focus on the mind-body connection.
After Princeton, Kim worked at Rockefeller University under Nobel laureate Dr. Gerald Edelman, studying neural cell adhesion molecule (N-CAM) gene expression and alternative exon usage. Her work contributed to a deeper understanding of molecular processes that shape brain development and immune function.
Kim’s commitment to improving lives through science later led her to found SciTech Kids, a hands-on STEAM institute in New York City. Under her leadership as CEO, students ages 3–17 became inventors, problem solvers, and critical thinkers—winning prestigious honors such as the White House Student Film Festival and the Disney X Prize for showcasing how science and technology can transform learning.
When COVID-19 struck, Kim’s expertise in epidemiology and immune health became essential. She joined the Advisory Board of Clyra Medical Technologies to support Clyraguard™, a copper-iodine antiviral technology proven to inactivate SARS-CoV-2. Her advocacy brought national attention to noninvasive, science-backed solutions that extend beyond traditional approaches.
Today, as CEO of the The Wellness Institute, Inc., Kim integrates her scientific, educational, and research experience to advance the field of noninvasive wellness. The Institute is committed to validating modalities such as red light therapy, green light therapy, and other emerging technologies that support optimal health. Kim oversees studies examining their potential benefits for individuals with lupus, autism, Bell’s palsy, and other conditions where conventional medicine offers limited options.
Across her career, Kim has consistently championed rigorous research, innovative thinking, and accessible health solutions. Her leadership at The Wellness Institute, Inc. reflects her core belief:
